EDC Mexico 2023: An Unmatched Festival

The largest electronic music festival in the country, EDC Mexico, concluded its three days of activities in Mexico City with surprises and activations that filled attendees with energy and rhythm. The festival lineup included representative figures from various subgenres of electronic music.

On the first day, Martin Garrix closed the KineticField stage with his hits like "In the Name of Love" and "Animals." On the second day, Zomboy shook the Wasteland stage with a hardstyle set. And to close the festival, Tiësto returned to Mexico after years to send off the edition in style.

Regarding immersive experiences, new activities were added such as customizing cups at the Dos Equis stage, where attendees could express their personality on them. The festival managed to create a sense of belonging and brotherhood among participants.

Technological and artistic innovation, along with a focus on the overall experience of the attendee, has placed EDC Mexico on a new standard for festivals in Latin America. The fusion of technology and art created unforgettable moments for the thousands of ravers who attended.

The cathedral-like scenic design at the KineticField stage surprised everyone with programmable LEDs and a projection system that generated unique visual effects. Directional sound technology improved sound quality throughout the venue.

One of the surprises was the DJ debut of Guillaume Duverdier, CEO of Heineken Mexico, under the artistic name DJ GuiGui. The EDC community lived the PLUR philosophy intensely, creating an atmosphere of harmony and acceptance.

The festival implemented a sustainability system with reusable cups, reducing the carbon footprint. Additionally, there were interactive spaces, virtual reality, and the opportunity to design tote bags.
